Shiseido

Editorial copy & localisation for EMEA

A long-term collaboration focused on translating global brand language into precise,
culturally attuned Dutch copy across digital and print.

About the project

Shiseido is a globally renowned Japanese beauty brand with a strong heritage
in innovation and craftsmanship. For the EMEA region, consistency in tone and
precision in language are essential across all touchpoints.

I collaborated on the localisation and refinement of editorial and product copy,

Product storytelling

Translating product descriptions required balancing
technical accuracy with sensorial language. Each text needs to reflect the brand’s refined tone while remaining clear and accessible.

“A lightweight oil enriched with powerful skincare ingredients that helps visibly
slow the appearance of skin aging, for face, body and hair.”

Editorial and Campaign copy

Beyond product pages, the work extended to campaign messaging and editorial content.
This involved maintaining a consistent tone across multiple formats, from newsletters to long-form storytelling.
